Professional biography

A career writer, Kevin was an award winning playwright in the early part of his career. He then moved into film and television. As a scriptwriter he has had feature film scripts optioned in both the USA and Australia and has worked on, or been consulted on, many feature film projects. In 1995 he was awarded a "Distinctly Australian Fellowship."

Kevin's television career has seen him credited on around 400 hours of broadcast television. He has worked as a writer, script editor and script producer. While specialising in TV drama, he also holds credits in animation and documentaries. He started in television on the internationally renowned youth series "Heartbreak High," and other credits include: "Head Start," "Something in the Air," "Gloria's House" and more recently "All Saints" and "Home and Away."

Kevin has held various positions with the Australian Writers' Guild, both at a National and State level and is a former chair of the NSW State Committee.

Kevin has been used extensively as a script consultant by fellow writers, producers and both national and state film funding bodies. He has also mentored a number of up and coming Australian writers.
