COVID-19 (coronavirus): Latest advice for the Bond community.

Wellbeing Referral

The BondCare Student Safety and Wellbeing Reporting/Referral System helps identify students whose wellbeing may be at risk or who many need additional academic support. We aim to provide timely and appropriate support to our students, and provide access to the resources and services they need to succeed and thrive as students.

If you or someone you know are impacted by wellbeing concerns, tell us by submitting a BondCare Wellbeing Referral.

Wellbeing concerns and support

It is important that we know when you or a student you know is having issues involving:

  • General wellbeing
  • Academic performance
  • Legal situation and/or visa
  • A known or unknown ongoing health condition
  • Housing
  • Finances
  • Diversity and inclusion matters
  • Research performance and/or progression
  • Injuries
  • Disruptive or unwanted behaviour
  • Safety in relation to themselves or others
  • Security

Submit a referral

Submitting a Wellbeing Referral is a way for our community members to alert Bond University when a student is experiencing personal difficulty. We encourage you to report concerns regarding a student as soon as possible. Providing early support to a student can sometimes be critical to personal and academic success.

Additional information and support services

Bond University will review the details of a referral and activate a coordinated response to support the student. A student identified as requiring support will be offered the opportunity to engage with staff and support services to discuss their support needs. For self-reporting, if you provide contact details, we will contact you about your concerns to discuss what can happen next.

If your referral entails concern for another person, we may contact that person.

If you need to follow up regarding the status of a referral, or if you have additional information or a change in level of concern, contact us directly at [email protected]. Bond University may need to request additional information for clarification.
