Bond ranked in top 20 of world's best small universities

Bond University has been listed in the prestigious global top 20 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings of the Best Small Universities in the World, thanks to its personalised teaching philosophy and outstanding student experience which translates to extraordinary student satisfaction ratings.

Bond University Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Tim Brailsford, said the ranking was recognition of Bond's never-ending and priority focus on the student and their learning experience, which set it apart from many other universities both in Australia and internationally.

THE World University Rankings take into account performance across five key areas - teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income - and are based on the input of more than 50 leading figures in the higher education sector across 15 countries.

Bond student satisfaction above national average

Students have rated their educational experience at Bond University the best in the country in the latest undergraduate Student Experience Survey, released by the Department of Education on its Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) website.

More than 90 per cent of students rated their educational experience at Bond University as positive, well above the national average of 80 per cent, based on responses from over 178,000 students Australia-wide. Bond University also came out on top on all six educational measures assessed in the survey.

Bond Business among world's best

Bond’s Bond Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), awarded to only the top 5% of business schools worldwide.

In Student Engagement Surveys conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research, Bond’s Bond Business School out-performs the G8 Universities in Skills Development, Learner Engagement, Teaching Quality, Student Support and Learning Resources.

Australian Financial Review's 2013 BOSS Rankings survey ranked Bond University #1 for Satisfaction, Top 5 for MBA and Top 3 for Executive MBA programs in Australia.
