Located in the Bond Institute of Health and Sport, the exercise and sports science laboratories are used extensively by students studying exercise and sports science, physiotherapy and nutrition and dietetics.The Faculty of Health Science & Medicine is continually updating the equipment within these labs, as well as the gym and teaching facilities to ensure students are learning to the best of their ability with the latest equipment and technology.
The Bond Institute of Health & Sport also includes it's own High Performance Training Centre, offering the following facilities;
- World class gym featuring 8 squat and dead lift platforms, ropes, loaded prowler, mini hurdles, plyo box
- Steam room
- Altitude training room
- 25m lap pool and hot/cold recovery pools
In 2017, the High Performance Training Centre was the only Centre within Australia to be awarded the Strength of America Award. This award represents the gold standard in strength and conditioning programs – measured the HTPC on four key criteria: Supervision, Education, Program, and Facilities.
