Applying to Bond
All international student applications to Bond University are submitted through the Studylink portal. No application fees apply.
This section walks you through the end-to-end application process.
Step 1: Check entry requirements
Before submitting, confirm the student meets the academic and English language requirements for their chosen program.
Use the Program finder to locate their chosen program. On the program page, select International student at the top of the page, then click the Entry requirements tab to view the relevant entry requirements.
Entry requirements by level:
- Undergraduate programs
- Postgraduate programs
- Diploma programs
- Foundation programs
- Study abroad programs
- English language requirements
Note: a small number of programs have additional entry requirements such as interviews, be sure to review the requirements for each program.
Step 2: Check key dates
Before submitting, confirm the student's intended intake is open and that you're working within the application window.
Bond has three intakes per year; January, May and September, with specific application deadlines and census dates for each.
Step 3: Check for credit recognition opportunities
If the student has previous study, use the Credit Calculator to check whether any prior qualifications may reduce their study load at Bond.
Step 4. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
When submitting a student application, please indicate whether Bond University should arrange OSHC on the student's behalf or whether the student will organise their own cover. This information is required for offer letter preparation and should be confirmed at the time of application.
Bond's preferred OSHC provider is Bupa.
Step 5: Submit via Studylink
All applications must be submitted through the correct territory office account in Studylink, based on where the student currently resides.
Need access?
- Need access for a new office: contact our Agent Coordinator at [email protected] (note: access is only granted for approved territories under your agreement)
Tip: A complete application is the key to a quick outcome. Most applications will receive an outcome within two weeks, however this can be much quicker. Applications which require interview, credit assessment or Faculty assessment may take longer.
Step 6: Application assessment
Once the application has been submitted, our Admissions team will review the documentation provided.
If the application is incomplete:
We will contact you if additional information or supporting documentation is required to progress the assessment. Providing requested documents promptly will help avoid delays in processing.
Step 7: Admissions outcome
Following assessment, students may receive:
- An Unconditional Offer – all entry requirements have been met.
- A Conditional Offer – the student must satisfy outstanding conditions before they can be fully admitted.
Offer letters will outline any conditions that need to be met and the associated deadlines. In some cases, students may also be required to provide additional Genuine Student (GS) documentation as part of Bond University's compliance and visa requirements.
If further information is needed, our team will contact you directly with instructions.
Step 8: Accepting the offer
To accept their offer, students should:
- Meet all conditions outlined in their offer letter (if applicable).
- Complete the acceptance process.
- Pay the required semester deposit as specified in the offer letter.
Step 9: Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
Once all conditions have been met and the required deposit has been received, eligible international students will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), which can then be used for the student visa application process.
