All participants registered for the 2025 Bond University High School Model United Nations (BUHMUN) conference will be given access to the BUHMUN Learner Platform (BLP). The BLP will provide training modules, guidelines, and relevant documents to provide an enriched pre-conference experience for delegates. The BLP will empower delegates with comprehensive resources, efficient submission procedures, and a user-friendly platform to support their preparation and engagement in the conference.

Can I do BUHMUN with no experience?
Yes! The aim of BUHMUN is to inspire students and equip them with the skills necessary to kickstart their career journey - whether in International Relations, Diplomacy, Journalism, Law or Policy.

Is there a registration fee?
Yes, numbers are strictly limited so registration is mandatory. Participants are required to register for a fee.
- Early bird registration: $50.00 (17 per cent discount)
- Registration: $60
The BUHMUN registration fee includes the delegate resource pack, all Model UN activities, and catering for both days.
There is no fee for teachers/school supervisors to attend BUHMUN.

What should I bring, and how do I prepare for BUHMUN?
Students will be required to wear their school uniform and bring their laptop and any other preferred writing materials. To prepare for this conference, participants must complete the iLearn Modules, which will be provided after registration, and submit a position paper.

What individual awards are presented at BUHMUN?
The following individual awards recognise outstanding delegates who demonstrate exceptional diplomacy, collaboration, and engagement throughout the conference.
BUHMUN Diplomacy Award
The Diplomacy Award will be presented to the individual who seeks to empathise, understand, and collaborate with their fellow delegates. Those deserving of this award will:
- Embody the spirit of the United Nations and its values;
- Actively listen to the concerns of other delegates;
- Exhibit values of collaboration, togetherness and teamwork;
- Engage with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully; and
- Actively participate in all sessions of the conference.
- The BUHMUN Position Paper Award
BUHMUN Position Paper Award
The Position Paper Award will be presented to the author of the position paper which best meets the following criteria:
- The paper has closely adhered to the position paper structure as provided by BUHMUN;
- The ideas within the position paper are organised thoughtfully;
- The position paper utilises thoughtful, concise grammar and language;
- The position paper reflects a strong understanding of the topic of debate; and
- The position paper is solution-oriented and acknowledged other points of view.

BUHMUN recognises outstanding delegations and schools that demonstrate excellence in diplomacy, collaboration, and participation.
BUHMUN Secretary-Generalโs Delegation Award
This award is presented to the delegation (team) that best:- Embodies the spirit and values of the United Nations.
- Actively listens to the concerns of other delegates.
- Demonstrates collaboration, togetherness, and teamwork.
- Engages with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully.
- Fully participates in all conference sessions.
