“The Translational Simulation Collaborative embraces the potential for simulation to directly improve healthcare quality and safety. Simulation can be used to explore team and system performance, test better ways, and embed best practice.

We aim to support simulation practitioners and researchers develop the techniques and practices that can achieve these aims.”

“Simulcourse was the catalyst for the wider adoption of simulation-based education and training in the Southern District Health Board. Over two consecutive years, fifty educators where trained in simulation methodology and this created a self-sustaining community of practice. 

Having Victoria and Jesse come over to Dunedin was incredibly cost-effective for the hospital and increased the profile of simulation for both frontline health staff and the hospital’s executive leadership team.
