RefWorks has been renamed EndNote Fusion.
What is EndNote Fusion?
EndNote Fusion is a cloud-based reference management tool that helps you collect, organise, cite and share research sources.
Features include:
- Import references you have gathered from online databases such as Ebsco, ProQuest and Library Search
- Save to EndNote Fusion bookmarklet in your browser favourites
- Save online articles to folders
- Annotate citations
- Sync citations from your EndNote Fusion library into Word
- Save your EndNote Fusion library in Dropbox
- Create an instant bibliography or reference list in any of the major referencing styles
- Connect to Resource Lists
What does this mean for existing RefWorks users?
For Bond University users currently using RefWorks, the transition to EndNote Fusion is expected to be straightforward:
- Your existing RefWorks account, folders, references, and data will remain available.
- No migration or manual transfer of references will be required.
- Existing workflows and authentication methods are expected to continue unchanged.
- The RefWorks Citation Manager add-in will be renamed but will continue to support citation creation in Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
- Users will notice a refreshed interface and updated branding under the EndNote Fusion name.
