Consultations

Librarians are available for one-on-one consultations in person and online via web meetings. 

Faculty Librarians can advise on:

  • literature searching
  • choosing relevant information sources
  • setting up alerts to keep current
  • reference management – EndNote & RefWorks
  • citing with APA, Chicago, Vancouver or Harvard styles

  • The Main Library houses the physical collection of books, audiovisual resources and print journals in all disciplines except law. The Reserve Collection is located on level 2. The remainder of the collections are located on levels 3 and 4 and can be searched through Library Search.

    Via RSS

    Subscribe to the following feed to get weekly updates of new books received in the Main Library.

    Or open the feed link in a browser that supports RSS or has RSS browser addons/extensions.

    How to subscribe to RSS feeds:
    1. Right-click the link and select copy
    2. Paste the link into the RSS Feed Reader
    3. The RSS feed is updated every Monday

    Check for instructions specific to your RSS Feed Reader as each reader may have different instructions for subscribing to feeds.

    If a book in the feed is not available on the shelf you can log into your Library account and place a hold on it.

  • The Main Library offers casual seating and hundreds of individual study stations with either desktop computers or laptop facilities. Silent study spaces are available on levels 3 and 4.

    Eight study rooms can be booked by students and are equipped with either PCs or large screens for connection to laptops.

    An assistive technology room is available for eligible students. Access must be arranged through the University's Accessibility & Inclusion Advisor.

  • Computers

    Computers for student and staff use are located on Level 2 and 3 of the Main Library.

    Printing & copying

    Self-service printing is available on Level 2 of the Main Library.

    The Print Shop located in the Main Library is a print-on-demand service providing high quality printing, binding, etc.

    The Papyrus café offers coffee, tea, cold drinks, light meals, and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Access Arrangements

The Main and Law Libraries & Multimedia Learning Centre are generally only accessible to Bond students and staff with valid swipe card access. Alumni should visit Security to obtain visitor access.
