Services for research

The Library's research goal is to enhance the University’s standing and influence through scholarly research support. We strive to do that by:

  • Supporting scholarship through all stages of the research cycle
  • Adopting strategic changes that align with national and international research policy initiatives
  • Heightening awareness of available Library resources and support for researchers through collaboration

Access to resources

Requesting books and articles

If the item you need is on the shelf in the Library or currently on loan to someone else, you can place a Click & Collect request via Library Search.

You can also use the Get It for me request option in Library Search for a portion of a book, or a journal article from the print collection if you are working remotely and cannot visit in person.

If the Library doesn't have the item you're after, you can place a request for it in Library Search, and we'll attempt to supply it from another library for you or purchase it for the Library's collection. Delivery time for digital chapters and articles is usually less than 1 day!
