Bond Rugby Newsletter August 28, 2020

It has been a great start to the adjusted 2020 Queensland Premier Rugby Season. For the first time ever, the club has fielded a Senior Men’s 3rd Grade team and a Woman’s 15 Team. During our first two rounds the success of the club was evident with each of our 6 teams gaining victory and providing Bond University with historic clean sweeps against Sunnybank and North’s.

The effort and commitment of the players is commendable as they work hard at training and continue to develop the culture of the club off the field. This week see’s the competition favourites, East’s, travel down to the Canal in what will be a very entertaining game.  In 1st grade we will contest for the Batty-Bremmner-Thomas Trophy as well as challenge for the Bunter Bowl – two pieces of silverware the club is eager to hold.
