Master of Business Administration/ Master of Project Management

Program overview

Businesses need strategic thinkers and effective project managers.

In the gig economy of the 21st century, ‘management by projects’ is becoming the norm. In every industry, tasks are delivered by interdisciplinary teams headed by leaders who not only have expertise in their given field but a suite of people management, time management, design thinking and high-level communication skills.

At the senior levels of management, career advancement depends on being ready, willing and able to head up project teams. Which is exactly why a postgraduate qualification in project management is the ideal extension to supercharge your MBA studies.

Bond University’s double MBA and Master of Project Management will equip you with the skills to progress to senior leadership roles and board positions.

Future-proof your career with Bond’s Master of Project Management, designed to deliver a particular attribute that equips you with capabilities that are likely to be enduring and valued. You will graduate with confidence after developing attractive, employability attributes.

While project management is a broad discipline, graduates may choose to specialise in the construction industry. A second qualification can be attractive to prospective employers or clients. Multidisciplinary skills enable greater empathy and communication with project team members from diverse backgrounds.

Program features

  • Stand out in your career

The benefit of tackling both degrees at the same time is the significant time and cost saving. Taken as stand-alone programs, the MBA would take 12 months to complete, and the Master of Project Management would take another 1 year 4 months. The double degree can be completed in just two years which means you save one semester and more than $30,000 on studying two individual degrees.

Most importantly, having dual MBA and Project Management qualifications will significantly expand your career options, adding extra value to potential roles in any industry and ensuring you stand out from every other applicant.

  • Globally recognised

Bond Business School’s flagship business management program consistently ranks as one of Australia’s best. With dual AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, a dynamic, professional development experience of ‘boot camps’ and intensive mode workshops has been purposedly designed where you’ll connect with an exclusive cohort of MBA candidates from all over the world.

The Master of Project Management is accredited by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) and is recognised internationally by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

  • Interactive learning

Our subjects have been designed to be engaging for participants through the use of blended learning – the harmonious integration of various student-centred learning experiences to enrich traditional face-to-face teaching – in order to provide more on-campus opportunity for discussion and problem-solving. Subjects employ job-relevant assessment tasks that supplement an authentic and formative personalised educational environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and highly experienced instructors.

  • Reduce your study time

Combined programs typically reduce the overall duration of study (and corresponding tuition cost) by 25%. All our combined degrees can be completed in two calendar years full-time.
