COVID-19 (coronavirus): Latest advice for the Bond community.

We understand university study presents new challenges, and we aim to help you reach your academic potential.

The Academic Skills Centre team offers personalised help, with personalised one-on-one sessions, small group workshops, and online resources to improve your skills in:

  • Academic writing
  • Organising and structuring your assignments
  • Time-management and study methods
  • Preparing for exams
  • Oral presentations
  • Referencing and citing
  • English
  • Maths

This service is provided for both domestic and international students at all study levels across all faculties.

The Academic Skills Centre can also help academic staff in areas such as:

  • specific academic skills workshops for classes
  • blended learning materials to put on subject iLearn sites
  • support for non native speakers of English.

Learning Advisors are available for consultation with supervisors, course coordinators and lecturers to help improve the overall study experience for students.

We can work together with you on any assignments, reports, or oral presentations to help you present your ideas clearly and effectively. We cannot, however, help with content related questions, and you will need to see your tutor for this.

We can also work with you to make sure that you are studying as effectively as possible, help with time management, and be a personal trainer for your academic studies while you are at Bond.

Appointments are face to face, or online using Collaborate. This means we will both be able to see your paper and can work in the same way as a face to face appointment.

From this semester our Tutoring programs have moved to a digital platform called Limitless Learning (formerly known as Tutor Fellows).

Our tutors are high achieving Bond students who are available to assist students living in residence, Bond University College Diploma students and Bond Sport scholarship recipients with their academic studies.

Our tutors are recruited from different fields of study across the University to assist with various academic skills and study strategies such as academic and legal writing, research and advocacy, general maths knowledge, time management, organisation and study skills in general.
