About the position

Bond University is seeking to recruit a Director to lead a new Industry Engagement office to strengthen existing industry partnerships and establish new partnerships. The position will develop innovative engagement strategies and programs to deliver against the University’s industry partnership strategic objectives.

The Director Industry Engagement will manage the relationship of key partners to enhance opportunities for industry and the University. They have an external focus with stakeholders and internally with Executive Deans, Business Directors and Managers from other faculties and business units.  The position represents the University and the Office of Engagement.

This position is a senior appointment and is a member of the Office of Engagement’s Executive Team, reporting to the Vice President, Engagement.

About the person:

Candidates will have a strong track record in establishing and maintaining long-term industry relationships and developing commercial activities across a range of disciplines.

You will hold a postgraduate degree and/or extensive relevant experience and will thrive in conditions that enable you to think creatively and propose a range of innovative solutions to complex and diverse business opportunities.

You have the proven ability to implement strategic directives, write and develop proposals after researching and interpreting complex datasets.

As the Director of Industry Engagement, you will have highly developed relationship and interpersonal skills required to collaborate and build meaningful partnerships. You will be joining a talented team on the Gold Coast, the lifestyle capital of Australia.
