Stage 1 - Academic Assessment

The academic assessment of your application (Stage 1) will be made by QTAC.

QTAC may contact you about documents required to complete your application. It is important that you provide all documentation to QTAC to complete your application before the application deadline. Incomplete applications after the closing date will not be considered.

If you have any questions regarding your academic assessment, please contact QTAC: https://www.qtac.edu.au/.

Please ensure your email address is correct in your QTAC application.

Stage 2 - Psychometric Testing

Selected applicants (based on their academic achievement) will be invited to participate in psychometric testing as part of the selection process for the Bond Medical Program. The results of the psychometric tests will determine the applicant’s eligibility for an interview.

Your QTAC application status will reflect if you have progressed to Stage 2: Psychometric Test. If you are successful in gaining an invitation to psychometric testing (Stage 2), you will receive an email from the testing provider requesting that you book a time to complete your testing under supervision.

After booking your appointment for testing, we encourage applicants to complete the recommended technical checks, prior to the day of testing. This will help to reduce technical difficulties on your testing day.

Be sure to check your QTAC application status for outcomes: https://www.qtac.edu.au/.

Please ensure your email address is correct in your QTAC application.

Stage 3 - Interview

The results of the psychometric testing will determine eligibility for being offered an interview as the next step of the assessment process. The Medical Program aims to ensure that 40% of Interview invitations are extended to candidates from Queensland and the Tweed community.

Interviews will be held online, where general suitability to medicine and preparedness to undertake a highly demanding course will be evaluated in an interview session.

Your QTAC application status will reflect if you have progressed to Stage 3: Interview. If you are then successful in gaining an interview (Stage 3), you will be emailed an interview invitation from Bond University. Bond will only email applicants who are successful in gaining an invitation to interview.

Those unsuccessful in receiving an invitation to an interview will have their QTAC status updated following the interview period. It is your responsibility to check your QTAC application. Please consider our alternate entry options: Medical program entry requirements.

Please ensure your email address is correct in your QTAC application.

Stage 4 - Offer

Round 1 offers will be released and available via the QTAC website. Bond University will issue official offer letters directly to successful applicants on the same day.

Your QTAC application status will reflect if you are successful in receiving an offer.

Only applicants who receive an offer will be notified by QTAC and Bond University. To secure your place, you must accept both your QTAC and Bond University offers by the lapse date indicated in your offer letter.

Subsequent offers are not guaranteed. If there are any further places available, Bond will make a direct offer to the applicant following the Round 1 lapse date.
