Planning your enrolment
Your Study Plan is based on your program structure and sequence
The program structure and sequence outlines all the subjects required to complete your program, including compulsory and elective subjects, and usually includes a list of the subjects you should choose in your first semester.
Some of your subjects will already be scheduled (planned) into a semester, options/electives/minors/majors may be unscheduled (unplanned) in your Study Plan.
Selecting the appropriate pathway options is essential to ensure you stay on track with your program requirements.
Any modifications to your study plan could impact your program completion and graduation date.
-
Important for international students
International students must study full time by enrolling in all subjects outlined in their program structure and sequence.
-
Changes to your enrolment
Changes to your enrolment can be made until Census Date for the subject. For standard subjects, Census Date is Friday of Week 4 of the semester. Other Census Dates may be earlier or later. To check the dates for your subjects, go to the bottom of the individual subject pages on the website. Find your subjects here.
-
Credit
If you are a new student who has been granted credit in recognition of prior learning, you would have received a study plan designed specifically for you, with your offer.
If you have approved credit this will be reflected in your study plan and you will need to add subjects to the semesters where you may only have two subjects planned to maintain a full-time study load. -
What happens if I have a sanction?
- A sanction is a notification applied to a student's record. Some sanctions may restrict access to resources, such as the ability to enrol, amend subjects, access results, or graduate. If a sanction applies to you, a sanction notification will appear in the Sanctions tile on the homepage of MyBond and in My Details in eStudent. Debt or overdue fees sanction alerts will also appear on your Dashboard and in your My Finances in eStudent.
- Admissions sanctions – identified by the Admissions or ADM in the name: then outstanding conditions or documents as outlined in your offer letter. Contact the Office of Admissions to resolve [email protected]
- Academic Status sanctions are related to your grades and marks – further information can be obtained from Student Assist [email protected]
- Safe and respectful rules indicate that you still need to complete the named module – information on this is available here.
