Student stories

  • Master of Occupational Therapy

My study experience at Bond has been great so far. The lecturers are really helpful and approachable – I know I can always stop and chat with them and feel really comfortable doing so. They are also very willing to spend time meeting us face to face to discuss assignments, rather than just communicating via email. This makes the study environment at Bond far more relaxed than a traditional university, which in turn, makes me more motivated to attend my classes! The facilities at Bond are also another standout part of attending university here – from the gym and the pool, to our learning facilities, even through to the free on-campus parking.

    Rowena Yan Low -
  • Bachelor of Film and Television

I chose Bond because I wanted to see and experience a completely different part of the world than Norway, where I’m from. It was especially important that I found a school that had both a great social and educational environment. Bond stood out to me as a university that would give me the perfect balance, and since arriving on campus, that has been proven to me time and time again.

    Jorund Smidt Opheim -
  • Bachelor of Sport Management

Bond’s small classes have allowed me to interact closely with my classmates and lecturers, and the accelerated program structure mirrors a fast-paced work environment, which has improved my organisational and time management skills. One of my highlights at Bond has been applying what I have learnt in lectures to real life scenarios.

As I live on campus, I have had so many opportunities to meet new people and develop lifelong friendships. Easy access to on-campus facilities is also a plus!

    Eimi Waki -
  • Bachelor of Psychological Science

The experience you receive at Bond, not only socially but academically, is much greater than larger universities that may see you as just another number. As an international student, I have access to personalised support, like help with my assignments and internship placements – all the things I wouldn’t have had access to at another university, but are available at Bond because of our small class sizes.

    Oscar Friedman Caceres -
  • Bachelor of Health Sciences

Upon arriving on campus after months of studying remotely, everything started to fall into place. Being able to drop into the Career Development Centre or Academic Skills Centre is amazing, and gives me the support I need to work towards my future goals at full speed.
