For the best part of two decades, Bond has been rated Australia’s number one university for student experience*, achieving five-star ratings in every student experience category in the 2023 Good Universities Guide.  

The Good Universities Guide is a trusted independent consumer guide for students researching their undergraduate study options. It provides ratings, rankings, comments and information about all Australian higher education institutions.

In the 2023 - 2026 QS Star ratings, we achieved a rating of five stars across several categories. 

QS Stars is a global rating system providing students with a detailed overview of a university’s excellence. The rating explores program strength, facilities and graduate employability for education institutions across the world.

#1 for learner engagement

In a time of disrupted, multi-modal and remote learning, Bond ranked number one in Australia for learner engagement, per the latest Student Experience Survey released by the Australian Department of Education. 80.8 per cent of Bond undergraduate students rated learner engagement as positive, well above the national average of 52.2 per cent.

 

World-class research

Times Higher Education (THE) rankings

In 2023, Bond was rated in the top 50  in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings list. The THE Young University Rankings list judges universities 50 years old or younger. Bond was ranked in the band of 401-500 out of 1,904 institutions worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024, which measure teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.

For a small university, Bond University’s research capabilities stand up to its large, international counterparts. Bond’s research is rated as world standard or above world standard in several disciplines by the Australian Research Council.

Sustainability

Bond's efforts in sustainability were recognised in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for 2024, ranking in the top 80 for United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, Good Health and Well-Being, and in the top 90 for SDG 16, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. The results mark Bond's highest ranking to date, demonstrating our continued improvement and ongoing efforts.
