About the Positions
Bond University is currently seeking candidates to join our Casual IT Talent Pool, supporting the Information Technology Services (ITS) team across procurement, purchasing, customer service and administrative functions. We are looking to fill multiple roles from this recruitment campaign. This register will be used to fill roles on an as-needed basis, including providing coverage during staff absences and supporting operational demand during busy periods.
The engagement will be on a flexible, as‑required basis, with hours varying from part-time (two days per week) to full-time during peak periods.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with day-to-day procurement activities including sourcing quotes, raising purchase orders, and tracking orders through to delivery.
- Support vendor coordination, including communications, follow-ups, and basic issue resolution to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Provide procurement administration support such as invoice processing, record keeping, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Receive, unpack, and record ICT equipment, ensuring assets are correctly logged in IT asset management systems.
- Maintain accurate asset records including tagging, tracking, stock control, and status updates.
- Support asset lifecycle activities including deployment, relocation, warranty returns, and disposal processes.
- Assist with warehouse and inventory activities including stock organisation, audits, and periodic asset checks.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Procurement and Vendor Management team, including reporting support and process improvement tasks.
Provide first-level IT service desk support, including triaging requests, logging and updating tickets, and assisting users with basic technical issues to ensure timely resolution or escalation as required.

Salary details
The hourly rate for these casual roles starts from $47.05 (includes 25% casual loading) plus 12% superannuation.
