As our population grows, so must our cities! In the 21st century, it is vital that we learn how to adapt to our ever-changing environment. The property sector is Australia’s largest industry and employer. Fulfilling the residential and non-residential occupancy and capital investment needs of Australia continues to remain a priority and requires employers to hire graduates with the capabilities and skills to work in a dynamic and unpredictable market.
Now more than ever, graduates must combine their knowledge and skills with the advancements in technology and industry practices to remain competitive. The Bachelor of Property at Bond encompasses a broad range of topics, including construction, finance, property development and valuation.
Campus and Bond University Experience
For the past 15 years, Bond University has been ranked #1 in Australia for Student Experience by the Good Universities Guide. This ranking recognises that there is a big difference between learning in large anonymous cohorts and working in small, discussion-based classes where you will be mentored through your studies by world-renowned academics and industry practitioners.
By learning in the University’s Sustainable Development Building, students will also be encouraged to expand their horizons and redefine the property industry of tomorrow, promoting sustainable practices. Students will experience Bond’s small class sizes and learn from internationally recognised academics in a collaborative environment. This allows students the opportunity to refine their skill set and apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
You will develop high level interpersonal and employability skills – communication, leadership, ethics – through Bond’s unique core subjects and Beyond Bond program that is part of every undergraduate degree. When it comes to planning your career path, the team at the Career Development Centre will work with you to find internships and work placements.
As for your social life – Bond is renowned for it, with a vast range of active student clubs, sporting teams, swimming pools, the aquatic centre, student gym, fitness and yoga classes, restaurants, cafes and everyone’s favourite watering hole, Don’s Tavern, all right here on campus.
