Supporting mental health

A healthy mind matters. Your transition to and journey through university life are exciting, but may come with some challenges.

No matter where you are in your study journey — at the start, middle or end — you may feel pressure from academic and study demands, homesickness from moving from interstate, culture shock from moving from another part of the world, or some stresses in your personal relationships.

We recognise the vital link between having a healthy mind and body and reaching your full study potential. So, if you need some extra help, guidance, and support, we invite you to connect with our Bond University wellbeing services.

Student counselling

Our on-site counselling service is free of charge to help and support you during your time at Bond. In confidential one-on-one sessions, your counsellor can offer you goal-oriented and solution-focused therapy interventions. Our team can provide you with understanding, support and a new perspective on personal, relationship, academic or work-related problems.

In need of immediate support?

You can access mental health support after hours from the Bond University Crisis Line. The Crisis Support Team can help relieve emotional distress and provide coping mechanisms outside of the operational hours of Bond's onsite psychological and wellbeing services, including at night and on weekends. Students, or staff supporting students, can call or text the Crisis Line 24/7 for any urgent crisis support.

Call 1300 359 504 or text 0485829136.

CONTACT CRISIS LINE

This is not an external call line, and all calls will be referred to the University Wellbeing Team to follow up where necessary. If you prefer to seek external help, you can contact Lifeline 24/7 on 13 11 14.
