Implementation of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) at Bond University

Bond University prides itself on providing students with a transformational, highly personalised and deeply engaging learning experience. Technological developments are driving change in higher education at an accelerated rate, and whilst there is strong evidence that Bond University already delivers superior student learning outcomes, we must not be complacent.

One of the key actions that Bond has articulated in the Strategic Plan is to develop new delivery methods that involve educational technology that enhance learning by supplementing staff-student interaction and exploring alternate modes of delivery.

The Office of Learning & Teaching ‘implementation of technology enhanced learning strategy’ is centred on our students, and the student learning experience. Our office seeks to support the use of high quality learning technology that enriches student experience and outcomes.

Strategic implementation plan priority areas

  1. Providing Bond University students with a dynamic, engaging and highly participatory learning journey.
  2. Building and contributing to a culture of educational innovation and willingness to embrace new ideas in learning and teaching.
  3. Equipping and enabling academic staff with the capacity and confidence to harness technology where appropriate, to enhance the student learning experience.
