AI and the Boardroom: What Directors and Executives Need to Understand Now

Synopsis

This webinar examines artificial intelligence through the lens of board-level accountability, strategy, risk and compliance. Rather than focusing on specific tools, Paul will help directors and senior executives explore how AI is already reshaping decision-making, risk management, and organisational culture.

The session also addresses the board’s role in developing policy, setting boundaries, asking better questions, and ensuring AI is used to augment - not replace - human judgement. Emphasis will be placed on practical governance responses: clarifying accountability, embedding AI into decision-making wisely, and strengthening oversight without slowing the organisation to a crawl.

Designed for directors and executives who want a clear, grounded understanding of AI as a governance issue, rather than a technical one, and who recognise that ignoring AI is itself a strategic and compliance risk.
