The second of an innovative, two-subject sequence, Business Model Execution continues students’ journey through a systematic process to invent, design and implement new business models. The primary focus of this subject is for students to launch, grow, manage and eventually shut down the business created the previous semester in Business Model Generation. Within this context, students have the opportunity to develop their teamwork, project management and decision-making capabilities such as navigating the challenges experienced within the typical organisational life cycle (e.g., launch, growth, stability and shut-down). As with Business Model Generation, students continue to develop an integrated business perspective, synthesising a broad range of disciplinary knowledge from previous studies in marketing, accounting, management, finance, information technology and other areas.

Policy on late submission and extensions
A late penalty will be applied to all overdue assessment tasks unless an extension is granted by the subject coordinator. The standard penalty will be 10% of marks awarded to that assessment per day late with no assessment to be accepted seven days after the due date. Where a student is granted an extension, the penalty of 10% per day late starts from the new due date.
Policy on plagiarism
University’s Academic Integrity Policy defines plagiarism as the act of misrepresenting as one’s own original work: another’s ideas, interpretations, words, or creative works; and/or one’s own previous ideas, interpretations, words, or creative work without acknowledging that it was used previously (i.e., self-plagiarism). The University considers the act of plagiarising to be a breach of the Student Conduct Code and, therefore, subject to the Discipline Regulations which provide for a range of penalties including the reduction of marks or grades, fines and suspension from the University.
Feedback on assessment
Feedback on assessment will be provided to students within two weeks of the assessment submission due date, as per the Assessment Policy.

A peer-evaluation system will be used in this subject to help determine the individual marks for all group assessments. As part of the requirements for Business School quality accreditation, the Bond Business School employs an evaluation process to measure and document student assessment as evidence of the extent to which program and subject learning outcomes are achieved. Explores the principles and tools for effectively launching and managing new projects and facilitating team development and performance.
Examines approaches to effective decision making in teams. Also considers control systems and motivation applicable to team and organisational contexts.
Addresses conflict in teams and approaches to productively managing intragroup conflict. Also examines how teams can effectively 'debrief’ to enable continuous learning and improvement. The considerations involved in organisational design and its relation to purpose and strategy is also explored.
Reviews the fundamentals of financial statements and managerial accounting to support the final review and evaluation of students’ business models.
