Workshops, studio sessions, and site visits
Creative Design Studio Material is one of our three foundational undergraduate studios. The 2023 iteration explores materials in an urban setting through a small building project. Students develop and study materials to test design ideas through permanent, semi-permanent, and temporary installations and structural combinations. They develop ideas via workshops, studio sessions, and site visits. Through these processes, students develop material logic related to the local context, reinterpretation, and adaptation as strategies to give back to the context.
2023 Undergraduate
