Landscape Studio
222 Landscape Studio acts as an introduction to understandings of landscape and Country. The Studio envisioned walks along Australia's east coast as a potential means to reconnect with Country. To support the coastal walks, structures were proposed to provide shelter and allow for overnight stays. Students explored a coastal dune stretch on Coodjingburra Country to develop an understanding of the terrain, climate, place, environment and cultural landscapes. The Studio tested ways in which architecture can relate to and contribute to our experiences of these environments.
