Bull Sharks' star QAFLW midfielder Shannon Nolan has followed her best on ground performance during Bond's QAFLW grand final victory by snagging her third successive QAFLW Club Champion medal at the Bond University AFL Club Blue and Gold Awards on Saturday night.
Nolan polled a whopping 159 votes ahead of Evy Reeves (138) and Jasmyn Davidson (106).
For the men, 2026 Rielwoldt Family AFL Excellence Scholar Kane Emery finished his first season at the club on top of the Club Champion leaderboard polling 63 votes.
Liam Viney (51) and Ollie Burrows-Cheng (46) rounded out the top three.
Much-loved club figures Jacqui White - QAFLW Team Manager - and Maxy Kennedy - Football Operations Manager - were hugely popular choices for their respective Paris Lightfoot and James Fitchett Club Person of the Year Awards.
Bachelor of Business student, Will Baillieu and Annabel Lynch, who is completing a Bachelor of Sport Management, were announced as QFA and QAFLW Rising Stars.
In his address to the club, Director of Football and QAFLW Head Coach Andy Lovell said he was absolutely delighted at the performance of the club not just on the field, but also off it.
"I saw it in the aftermath of our grand final weekend when the various groups got together.
"Our Reserves women who fell just short were there celebrating with the Senior Women after their awesome grand final effort, and same for the men where you had the Seniors who couldn't quite get over the line were there with their Reserves mates who had a great win," he said.
"Everyone was happy for each other.
"It says about our culture we have built here.
"We're all in it together, and that makes me incredibly proud and excited about what we can do in coming years."
