The Bachelor of Climate Change and Sustainable Action is an interdisciplinary program that empowers students to become influential sustainability leaders across diverse sectors. The curriculum is structured around three foundational areas: Climate Change, Sustainability, and Sustainable Action. With a wide range of major options available, students can customise their studies to align with their interests and career goals. Throughout the program, students explore environmental impacts, sustainable development, and communication strategies to drive positive change. Practical field analysis enriches their understanding and fosters environmental responsibility. Additionally, students develop motivation and communication skills and gain insights into global governance for effective advocacy. The Capstone option in the final semester, allows students to apply their expertise to real-world sustainability challenges.

    The Bachelor of Climate Change and Sustainable Action is a six-semester interdisciplinary program that requires the completion of 240 credit points in four groupings: Core Curriculum (30CP), Interdisciplinary Foundation (120CP), Major (60CP), and Electives and Capstone (30CP).

    Taking a full-time study load of 40 credit points per semester, you can complete your undergraduate degree in two years (six semesters), thanks to Bond’s fast-track trimester timetable. Intakes are offered in January, May or September.β€―

  • Hands-on fieldwork

    You will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on fieldwork and research projects related to climate change and sustainability. You can collaborate with faculty academics and industry experts on meaningful initiatives, conduct environmental assessments, and contribute to actionable solutions for mitigating climate change and promoting sustainability.

  • Inter-faculty curriculum

    The program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that combines knowledge from various fields and faculties such as law, psychology, business, health, advertising and social sciences. You will gain a holistic understanding of climate change and sustainability issues, enabling you to address complex challenges from multiple perspectives.

  • Capstone project option

    You will have the opportunity to complete a capstone project focused on developing innovative and actionable sustainable solutions. This project encourages students to apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills to address specific climate change challenges. It may involve creating sustainable business plans, policy recommendations, or community engagement initiatives. 

     

  • Internship option

    The program includes an optional internship placement component, allowing you to apply your knowledge and skills in meaningful industry settings. This experiential learning opportunity provides valuable work experience and fosters connections with organizations, government agencies, and NGOs dedicated to climate action and sustainability.
