Bond University is looking for an experienced fundraising professional to join a small team responsible for the delivery of the University’s first-ever capital campaign.
This role plays an integral part in the development and implementation of philanthropic campaigns.
The key function of the role is to support the Campaign Director to deliver a capital campaign to raise funds for the new Great Hall, including:
- Event delivery
- Coordinating and updating operational plans
- Administration support
- Donor research and profiling
- Updating donor records in the CRM and reporting.
The role offers variety and the opportunity to learn new skills and be part of a small, successful team raising funds for Bond University’s most iconic buildings.
With a national focus, the role will support the development activity in line with the University's overall objectives.
About the person
The successful candidate will ideally be a fundraising professional with a technical fundraising background who can deliver tangible results. They will join a newly formed talented team working within the Office Advancement at Bond University.
Candidates will have the following:
- A relevant university degree or equivalent experience and achievements in fundraising, marketing or sponsorship would be preferred
- Ability to interrogate and manage databases, as well as to perform research, identify trends and seek opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to work well with a team for collaboration and achievement of goals.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $83,210.75 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
