James Johnson
James is an accomplished sports administrator and the Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Soccer Business. Formerly the CEO of Football Australia, Johnson played a pivotal role in the success of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup hosted in Australia and New Zealand. His move to Canada marks a new chapter in his career, where he will oversee commercial operations and the Canadian Premier League, with a focus on leveraging the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by Canada, the US, and Mexico, to drive growth in Canadian football. James studied a Juris Doctor at Bond University and in 2025 was the recipient of the prestigious Alumni Medal, recognising his contributions to the sport and leadership in global football development.
Brianne Gardner
Brianne is a Senior Wealth Manager and Financial Advisor at Velocity Investment Partners, a division of Raymond James Ltd. With over a decade of experience in financial services, Brianne is known for her strategic, tax-smart investment planning and her role as a trusted financial partner and coach to her clients. Brianne’s career includes leadership roles at top-tier firms such as Richardson GMP and Gamma Wealth Management, and she has been recognised as a Women in Capital Markets Rising Star and one of Canada’s Top 50 Advisors. Brianne is an advocate for financial literacy and diversity in capital markets and mentors emerging female leaders. She studied her MBA at Bond University.
