Learn more about ATAR

You are invited to the the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) information evening.

From 2020, the ATAR will replace the Overall Position (OP) as the standard pathway to tertiary study for Queensland Year 12 students who will graduate from the end of 2020 and seek entry to tertiary courses commencing from 2021.

This evening is the best place for you to start if you are thinking about attending university and are currently a Year 10, 11 or 12 student (or you are a parent or teacher).

Data Science Professor Steven Stern will explain how ATAR will be calculated and its eligibility.  Other key topics will include how to make Year 10 subject selections, what is the difference between assumed knowledge and prerequisites, and alternative pathways to your dream degree.

A current Bond University student will also be there to share their own personal experience in applying, and the transition to university. Bond University staff will be available before and after the information evening to answer any other questions you may have.

Light refreshments will be provided on arrival.

Time: 6pm - 7.45pm
