"Are You OK?" and What Comes Next
A peer support skills workshop for Bond University students.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't noticing a friend is struggling — it's knowing what to say, what to do, and who to turn to. This workshop gives you the practical skills and confidence to show up for the people around you.
Join us during Bond Together Week for an informal, interactive two-hour session where you'll explore:
- What good mental health looks like — and what gets in the way of it
- How to recognise when a friend or peer might be struggling
- How to have a supportive conversation without putting pressure on yourself to "fix" things
- How to respond when someone is in distress or crisis
- Who to connect them with at Bond — and when to escalate
This session is open to all Bond University students, no prior knowledge needed.
- When: Tuesday 9 June 2026, 4:30pm – 6:30pm
- Where: BondConnect Meeting Room (09_01_51) opposite Don's Tavern
- Cost: Free and yes— pizza and donuts will be provided
