    Bondies on the move

    • BRONWYN BLAGOEV

      Class of 1998

      Bronwyn Blagoev has been appointed Director-General for the Department of Local Government, Water, and Volunteers, serving Queensland. Blagoev became Queensland’s independent assessor last year, following nearly two years acting in the position. She previously built a 20-year career in local government across strategy, service delivery, policy, legal, and legislation leadership roles, supporting communities across the state.

    • Lauren Soars

      Class of 2014

      Bachelor of Business alumna Lauren Soars has announced an exciting new chapter, relocating to Los Angeles to join the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games team. This milestone reflects Lauren's global career momentum and commitment to excellence on the world stage. Her appointment places her at the heart of one of the world's most significant sporting events, representing Australian talent internationally. 

    • Arthur Joseph Kurup

      Class of 2001

      Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup has been appointed Malaysia’s Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability following a Cabinet reshuffle. The Pensiangan MP brings ministerial, international trade and policy experience, including work with the World Trade Organisation. Previously Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Arthur combines public sector, corporate finance and political expertise in this leadership role.

    • Emily Pugin

      Class of 2009

      Ms Emily Pugin has been appointed Australia’s next High Commissioner to Cyprus. A career DFAT officer, she previously served in Vienna managing key European relationships. Her appointment continues Australia’s longstanding engagement with Cyprus, including through peacekeeping contributions and strong connections with Australia’s Cypriot community.

    • Rodrigo Galleguillos

      Class of 2017

      Bond MBA alumnus Rodrigo Galleguillos has been appointed Regional CEO for Latin America at Hanseatic Global Terminals. A business administrator with a Master’s in Finance and an MBA from Bond University, Rodrigo brings extensive leadership experience across the maritime, port and logistics sectors, and will help drive the company’s growth and strengthen operations across Latin America.
