This subject will introduce students to the key issues and concerns of leadership and leadership studies. It will examine current leadership theory, issues and problems, and provide opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills.

1. Students are able to demonstrate a broad (multi-faceted) understanding of the concept of leadership and its differentiation from related concepts.
2. Students are able to apply their understanding of leadership to critically assess individual behaviour using multiple perspectives to inductively develop abstract principles for future use and reassessment.
3. Students are able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to pursue a lifelong journey of leadership development.
Students must have successfully completed MGMT11-101 Organisational Behaviour or CORE11-002 Leadership and Team Dynamics or equivalent prior to undertaking MGMT13-320.
