Individual Study in Business is an elective subject in the postgraduate programs offered by the Bond Business School. Students must complete an independent research paper on an agreed topic, supervised by a Bond Business School academic staff member. Enrolment is by application only and Faculty approval is required. Please refer to the Individual Study policy on the website regarding subject procedures.

1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills to plan and complete an independent research paper, applicable to the field of work or learning.
2. Apply critical thinking to analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge in relation to the field of study.
3. Demonstrate written communication skills to explain and critique theoretical propositions, methodologies and conclusions.
4. Demonstrate oral communication skills to explain and critique theoretical propositions, methodologies and conclusions.
Enrolment into this subject requires approval from Program Director or Associate Dean L&T.
This subject is not available as a general elective. To be eligible for enrolment, the subject must be specified in the students’ program structure.
