The Bull Sharks gave competition newcomers Redlands Coast a brutal welcome to the Ruby Series on Sunday night.
Coach Kim Boland admitted last week that a complete lack of intel on the Eagles had posed some problems in planning for the game – leaving a complete focus on their own gameplan as the only option.
It worked, as the Bull Sharks produced a club record 40-point victory.
Bull Sharks v Redlands Coast at Nissan Arena
Bull Sharks won 77-37
How it was won
A full-team defensive performance saw our athletes maintain consistency across all four quarters, convincingly winning each quarter.
What made you happy
This week, we placed a strong emphasis on embracing the physicality of the game during training. That work paid off as we saw real growth in this area, with the athletes stepping up and not backing down under pressure.
Bull Sharks Netball

It was a proud moment for our club as one of our pathways athletes, Sienna Hyssett, made her debut and had an immediate impact. It was a fantastic achievement and a glimpse of what's to come.
The work to do
There’s always room for growth. We continue to focus on maintaining consistency across all four quarters and reducing unforced errors. Progress is being made, but we know there’s more to achieve.
Trademark players
It is too tough to name just one — this win was truly the result of a full team effort, with every player stepping up and contributing.
