Bond University will travel to Crosby Park for a round three match-up against the undefeated Brothers Rugby Club on Saturday.
Both the first-grade men and premier women sides are aiming to continue their perfect start the 2023 season and cement their place at the top of ladders.

Last time we met:
It was heartbreak for the Bull Sharks when Brothers ended Bond’s finals aspirations in a 31-25 defeat in round 17 last year.
On that day Bond were down 31-11 with 20 minutes to play and came home strong with two converted tries only to be held up over the tryline in the 80th minute, denying them the win.
Tyler Campbell led the way scoring two tries and setting up a third in what was a superb performance from the playmaker.
Where will it be won:
Bull Sharks captain Lachlan Connors conceded they were their own worst enemy in the second half against the Tigers last week when they let the opposition back into the contest. Bond are eager not to make the same mistake.
“We let in three easy tries which we have addressed in tightening up our maul and ruck defence and we know that we must really take it to Brothers for the full 80 minutes,” he said.
Crosby Park has delivered plenty of points in match-ups between the clubs in recent seasons including the 56-point thriller last season and an emphatic 43-all draw in 2021.
“Playing Brothers at Crosby is always tough. It's a hostile environment but it brings the best out of the squad and we have shown in recent weeks when we focus on us, we can score points from anywhere,” said Connors.
Connors, who is studying a Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice at Bond, is embracing his new role as the first-grade skipper.
“It's a new challenge but we have plenty of experienced leaders in this group so I’ve got plenty of boys around me for support.”
The one to watch:
The 2022 James Slipper Trophy recipient Nixon Taramai will line up for his first starting appearance for the season at number 8.
Taramai brings pure strength and athleticism to the forward pack and is known as one of the biggest hitmen in Queensland Premier Rugby.
Look for Taramai to deliver a big performance for the Bull Sharks.
