Hear from our Bondies

  • Throughout my studies, the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice team supported my goals by linking me with contacts in other states and countries. After I graduated, the team further supported me in making connections to secure a job and talked me through any concerns I had regarding the advancement of my career. The care and support did not end as soon as I graduated.

Jennifer Pfiefler - Alumna and nutritionist
  • People are always surprised when I tell them about the opportunities provided to me in Bond’s Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice program. I never thought that I would be involved in implementing a public health nutrition program in a rural village in the Solomon Islands or to be able to give presentations on nutrition across high schools in Hong Kong.

Sophie Mahoney - Alumna and dietitian
  • The program put me in great stead to enter the workforce, having the opportunity to immerse myself among a range of cultures, from the slow paced living in the Solomon Islands, to the dense city life of Hong Kong. Thanks to a large number of simulations, and ongoing feedback from leading dietitians in their field, I had the confidence to hit the ground running – helping clients achieve personal goals, troubleshooting wellbeing concerns of athletes, to sharing my knowledge at seminars.

Matt Hart - Alumnus and sport dietitian
  • COVID-19 has raised many global challenges, but it’s also led to many innovations in the healthcare industry, including nutrition and dietetics. Being able to offer clinical services remotely has been incredibly valuable, and our students have been able to continue their placements while gaining experience in what will be a big part of the future of healthcare.
