Construction manager

Manage and plan construction projects and oversee their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner consistent with an overarching strategy. Responsibilities include coordination of workers and subcontractors, commissioning, and installation of infrastructure, managing budgets, and tracking tools, materials, equipment, and inventory.  

Estimator

You will take an active role in the tendering of contracts through the analysis of proposals, plans, specifications, and other data in preparing time, cost, and labour first principles estimates for construction projects. You will be required to maximize project margin and add value to the construction process through proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.

How to gain professional accreditation

In order to be eligible for professional accreditation in the construction practice industry, you are required to complete the Master of Construction Practice.
