Building surveyors can work in varying sectors by developing building codes and legislation, enforcing local building laws and stands, and certifying buildings for construction.

Students who successfully complete Bond’s Graduate Certificate in Building Surveying gain full Building Surveyor Limited (Level 2) accreditation with the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS), having fulfilled the academic requirement.
