Bonding with the Bull Sharks: Justin Bernstein

NAME: Justin Bernstein.

SPORT/CLUB: Bond University Rugby Club.

STUDY/WORK: Director – Cutter and Buck (golf clothing and accessories).

What’s your nickname and how did you get it?

Juzzy / JB.

What are you currently streaming?

I have started re-watching Game of Thrones and Winning Time.

You've got the day off, the weather is perfect and you’ve got money in your pocket. Where would we find you?

You would find me at one of the bars around Nobbys or Burleigh with friends of family.

Who inspires you the most?

Probably mum and dad. They have done so much for my brothers and I over the years and we’re thankful for all that they’ve done.

Who is your nemesis?

I can’t recall having a nemesis. My three brothers are all involved with UQ so there’s always a bit of rivalry when we play them.

What’s your superstition?

I don’t have any superstitions. But during the season I like to take it easy on Friday nights and spend time with my partner Katie and our dog Brooky.

If you could invite 3 people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Sir David Attenborough, Robert Downey Jr and Russell Westbrook.

And if you’re the chef, what’s on the menu?

We would be having homemade woodfire pizzas.

What is your greatest sporting memory?

Greatest team memory- the 2015 premiership. Greatest personal memory- 100 caps for Bond.

Who is your most annoying teammate and why?

Adam Gauder because he is always late.
