Bond University gala raises $2.1 million for Indigenous education
The Bond University Indigenous Gala has this year raised a record sum of almost $400,000 towards creating educational opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students - taking total funds raised to more than $2.1 million since the event began nine years ago.

Young Caboolture talent Charlie Falconer has been named ‘Best Overall Filmmaker’ at the prestigious Bond University Film and Television Awards (BUFTA) for her documentary, Manu, and comedy, Cue Overreaction, which also won ‘Best Achievement in Directing’.
