Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Services, the Advisor, Graduation and Administration develops and maintains effective collaborative relationships throughout the university, to determine the eligibility of students to graduate each semester and ensure the professional and efficient organisation and delivery of graduation ceremonies. The post holder is also a member of the University’s Student Assist team, supporting commencing and continuing students with timely and accurate information in relation to their program of study and continuation or completion of their studies.

 

About the person

Ideally, the successful candidate will have: 

  • Completion of a degree level qualification with at least three years subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • Proven proficiency in the use of technology with good keyboard skills – Student Management System (Student One and/or equivalent), Customer Relationship Management System/s (CRM) and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Demonstrated experience of legislative environment (HESA, ESOS, CRICOS), university degree structures, study plans, processes and procedures related to enrolment and progression through an academic award.

  •   Demonstrated well-developed written and oral communication skills in dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds both internal and external to the organisation including the ability to develop and refine business processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.

  •    Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise to ensure goals and targets are met (within the context of competing priorities).
  •    Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills in managing high numbers of enquiries, utilising problem-solving skills to provide information, advice and quality outcomes as a basis for service delivery.
  •    Proven ability to work independently and with others in a busy fast-paced team with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.

     

Salary details

The salary for this full-time position (36.75 hours per week) commences at $85,707.07 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
