You have received an offer - what's next?

Congratulations on your offer to study at Bond University! The next step is to secure your place by accepting your offer.

We have outlined the steps to accepting your offer below. To accept, you’ll need to log into our online application service and follow the instructions.

Accepting your offer

To accept your offer, there are three simple steps.

  1. Log into the online application service and click Respond to Offer. Then, select 'Accept'.
  2. Next, click the 'Request for FEE-HELP' button and complete the FEE-HELP form. Alternatively, if you are not using FEE-HELP you can choose to 'make a fee deposit'. Note: If you cannot locate the FEE-HELP form when you log in a subsequent time, please read the FEE-HELP section below.
  3. Get ready to start! We’ll be in touch with information about Orientation closer to your semester starting date.

If you listed program preferences during your application, please note that you will only receive one offer at a time per intake and study level. If you receive an offer but have changed your mind on which program you would like to study, please refer to the instructions on changing your program below. 

If you are still deciding between institutions, we recommend that you accept your offer to reserve your place at Bond University. You can withdraw your acceptance at a later time by contacting your Regional Manager. In the meantime, we encourage you to book a campus tour, test drive a class and/or contact your Regional Manager to book a personalised consultation.

When you accept your offer, you will be able to complete your FEE-HELP form.

FEE-HELP eligibility.

The Australian Government’s FEE-HELP loan scheme is available to Australian citizens, New Zealand special category visa holders and permanent humanitarian visa holders who meet the residency requirements. For more information, please visit: https://www.studyassist.gov.au/help-loans/fee-help

Finding the FEE-HELP form.

You will be directed to the FEE-HELP application form when following the steps to accept your Offer. If you have already accepted your Offer and wish to complete the FEE-HELP form, you will need to activate your IT account (see steps below) before visiting the Student Portal and selecting “eStudent” from the side menu. The FEE-HELP form is accessible from the eStudent page main menu.

Activating your IT account.

To activate your IT account please visit bond.edu.au/activate. You will be asked to provide your Student ID, Date of Birth and to create a password. Your Student ID number can be found on your Offer letter. If you cannot locate your Student ID number please contact us.

Tax File Number (TFN).

You will need to provide a Tax File Number (TFN) to complete the FEE-HELP application process. If you do not currently have a TFN, please follow the steps provided by the Australian Tax Office. You can then submit your FEE-HELP application by uploading the receipt issued by Australia Post.

To change your program, please reply to your original offer email from the Admissions Office, confirming your preferred program and starting semester.

To defer your offer, please login to the online application service, click Respond to Offer, select “Defer” and then select your preferred semester. Deferment is not automatic and is subject to approval by the University.

If you have already accepted your program and would like to defer your program now, please reply to your original offer email from the Admissions Office to submit your deferral request in writing.

Deferment cannot be considered for students offered a place in the Medical Program, Master of Professional Psychology, Master of Psychology (Clinical) or the Doctor of Physiotherapy.

If you have also received a scholarship offer, you should send a request stating the exceptional circumstances for seeking a scholarship deferment, with supporting documentation, to your Regional Manager.

We’re sorry to see you go, and would like to talk to you before you make the final decision to decline your offer. But if you wish to decline your offer, please login to the online application service, click Respond to Offer and select “Decline”.

International students

Accepting your offer

To accept your offer, you will need to:

  1. Log into the online application service and click Respond to Offer. Then, select 'Accept'.
  2. Identify the Australian Government visa office or Consulate at which you will apply for your student visa (please enter the country in which you will be residing when you apply for your student visa).
  3. Pay your fee deposit*. This will be outlined on your Letter of Offer.
  4. Ensure you meet any offer conditions stated on your Letter of Offer. Your Regional Manager is available to discuss your offer conditions and explain what they mean for you.
  5. Apply for your student visa using your Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) from Bond.
  6. Get ready to start! Learn about living on the Gold Coastaccommodation, and more. We will be in touch with information about Orientation closer to your semester start date.

* Additional Payment Information
If the online application portal does not provide the option to make a payment when accepting your offer, please visit bond.edu.au/paymentoptions and process your payment via credit card or Western Union wire transfer. You will be issued with a payment receipt which you will need to email to [email protected], noting your Student ID number in the subject line. Our Admissions team will then process your acceptance and issue a Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) so you can apply for your student visa. You will need to follow this process if you also wish to spread your payment over several smaller payments or multiple credit cards.

To change your program, please reply to your original offer email from the Admissions Office, confirming your preferred program and starting semester. If you are wanting to change to a program that you listed as a preference in your original application, the Admissions team will then update your application for you, you will not need to submit a new application. 

If you applied via an agent, please contact them to arrange.

If you wish to defer your offer and start in another semester, the deferment is subject to approval by the University. We encourage you to contact your Regional Manager or agent to discuss your options. Deferment cannot be considered for students offered a place in the Medical Program, Master of Professional Psychology, Master of Psychology (Clinical) or the Doctor of Physiotherapy.

If you have also received a scholarship offer, the deferment of a scholarship will only be granted in exceptional circumstances. Students seeking deferment of scholarships should email a request stating the exceptional circumstances, with supporting documentation, to your Regional Manager.

A note about logging into the online application portal.

If you have submitted an application and have not logged into Bond's online application portal before, or have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by selecting the 'login' button and selecting 'I have forgotten my password'. Enter the email address associated with your application and we will send you a temporary password, which you can reset later.
