Daniel Kowalski OAM – Olympian

Daniel is a two-time Olympian, former world record holder and, at the 1996 Atlanta Games, became the first swimmer in 92 years to win a medal in the 200m, 400m and 1500m freestyle events at the same Olympics. Following his professional sporting career, Daniel is passionate about supporting the careers of elite athletes. Daniel is the Head of Olympian Services on the Australian Olympic Committee and is focused on delivering programs that assist Olympians in their professional development ensuring they are prepared for the next phase of their life.

Emily Pugin – Diplomat, Lawyer and Director 

Emily is a proud Kombumerri woman and a seasoned diplomat, lawyer, and director with over a decade of experience at Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Emily's career highlights include participating in the Paris Agreement negotiations (COP21), chairing multilateral negotiations at the UN, and being admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory. She has also served as Australia's Second Secretary to the UN in Vienna and in several other countries, including Kosovo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria.

A.. Future Forum is open to ambitious Year 11 and 12 students around Australia. As it is an small and intimate event, places are strictly limited. Please register your interest as early as possible and we'll be in touch to confirm your place. 

Q. How much does it cost?

A. Future Forum is a complimentary event hosted by Bond University.
