Generative AI for Accounting Professionals: A Practical Introduction
Generative AI is rapidly reshaping professional services but using it well requires more than prompt tricks.
This session provides accounting professionals with a clear mental model for working effectively with generative AI. Rather than focusing on tools or prompt tricks, it explains what these systems fundamentally are, and are not, how they generate outputs, and why fluent responses can still be wrong.
The session introduces a Human–AI Mastery Framework that integrates system understanding, interaction skills, core human capabilities, and value-driven attitude, with particular emphasis on professional judgment, skepticism, and accountability. Attendees will gain practical guidance on using AI as a productivity accelerator while preserving professional standards, managing risk, and avoiding judgment drift in high-stakes work.
