You are invited to attend the Faculty of Law governance webinar.
Presented by Matt Fullbrook
The world of corporate governance resources is vast. Thousands of experts have written tens of thousands of books and articles but have failed to answer some fundamental questions. What, exactly, is good governance? What, specifically, differentiates great boards from awful ones? What does it mean to do great things at a normal board meeting – no crisis or imminent failure? Meanwhile, our current approaches to the work of boards keep increasing in complexity and volume but have done precious little to decrease corporate malfeasance or increase performance.
This session will illustrate the flawed thinking behind conventional approaches to board work and propose new ways to think about what good governance could be.
