  • We can work with you one on one with your assignments to help you organise and express your ideas clearly, develop your academic / professional style, make sure you’re referencing appropriately, or just unpack the question so that you know what you have to do.

However, we can’t help with the actual content of lectures, and we are not a proof reading service to check over everything.

The Academic Skills Centre team can help you study more effectively to make the content stick, help you with time management, studying for exams, and taking notes.

We can also help with maths in Bond subjects such as Business Statistics, Elementary Maths, Fundamentals of Finance, Measurement, and Mechanics.  Our team can also look at your skills in core maths topics such as algebra, multivariate analysis, hypothesis testing and beyond. This can also include basic Excel programming and graphing of data that you may require for assignments or projects.

We offer one 30 minute appointment per student per week, and we do this either face to face, or online using Collaborate.

  • Stress teflon : it's great being you when stress doesn't stick
In Stress teflon, Luke Mathers and Mick Zeljko explain you can utilise stress to get more out of life, becoming a better version of yourself.

Curious Habits : Why we do what we do and how to change
An entertaining and thought-provoking exploration into why we form habits that can ultimately become unhelpful, and how to break or replace them to make positive change. There are hundreds of books about habits - atomic habits, tiny habits and habits of highly effective people (there are seven of those). This book is different. It draws from the collective wisdom - everything from evolutionary biology and neuroscience to religion, stoic philosophy and Instagram - and looks at habits through the lens of curiosity, not scarcity.
