Meet our Bondies | David Armenores

In our first 30 years, almost 30,000 alumni have graduated from Bond University. To celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re showcasing some of the past students who have paved the way for the next generation of Bondies.

Meet Bachelor Commerce/Bachelor of Laws (CRICOS 093908G) alumnus David Armenores. 

What is your current role?          

Senior Captain, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd.

Where are you based?  

Hong Kong.

Why did you choose to attend Bond?     

Fantastic opportunity to accelerate career potential.

What are your recollections of your time here?

Empowering, self-motivation and enterprise.

What have been your career highlights so far?   

Admission to Queensland Bar, completion of Airline Transport Pilot Licence Wide Body Airline Command.

What advice would you give to current Bondies?              

Keep going, the answer will be there.

What does it mean to you to be a Bondy?            

Measured risk does give reward.

What is your favourite memory of Bond

From dedication and vision of others, we were given great opportunity.
