GMBA70-103: Cross Cultural Business Communication

Description

This subject provides a comprehensive overview of the communication strategies and skills that are required in business – including information provision in business plans, in stakeholder meetings, in external and internal documentation. It links academic theory and research with practical applications (such as case study analyses), encouraging higher order thinking, peer engagement and interpersonal confidence, and understanding specific issues of different cultures and with different English idioms being used/. Specifically, this subject will develop communication competence in areas of business research, professional writing and interpersonal skills that can be applied in personal and professional interactions.
